Panorama Tour Including Fantoft Stave Church

On this tour, you will see how wooden architecture is predominant in Bergen. From the bus you will see the Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site all built in wood, and you will also see small hamlets with typical wooden houses. You will continue by heading south of the city, where your guide will take you on a visit to Fantoft Stave church. This wooden church, with the specific “stave architecture” was originally built in Fortun in Sogn in 1150 and moved to Fantoft in 1883. The church burnt down on the 6th of June 1992, but has been rebuilt as it was before the fire.
